The Statue of Unity, standing at 182 meters, is the tallest statue in the world and a monumental symbol of India’s pride. Located in Kevadia, Gujarat, this landmark attracts millions of visitors every year and required world-class engineering expertise to ensure its structural strength and longevity. SAI Infratech, in collaboration with L&T Construction, contributed to this prestigious project by delivering specialized civil and foundation solutions that met the highest international standards.
Our role in the Statue of Unity project was critical to ensuring the structural reliability of the monument. The foundation work was executed with precision to handle the massive load of the statue and withstand environmental factors for decades to come. We used advanced piling techniques, robust pilecap construction, and high-strength pier systems to ensure the structure remains stable under extreme weather and seismic conditions. The sheet-pile installations provided additional support to retain soil integrity during and after construction.
By integrating state-of-the-art construction technologies with our on-ground expertise, SAI Infratech ensured timely delivery while adhering to all quality and safety protocols.
Pilecap Construction – Designed and executed reinforced concrete pilecaps to distribute loads efficiently to the underlying piles.
